Crimes against actual humans go unsolved...
And we still haven't put a man on Mars.

Is this your reaction to every bit of news? Apparently you don't have a clue what that guy did to that dog. It's like a horror film, and I don't think anyone believes that this was a one-off thing--he's an out and out sadist. So glad they got him.
It's a crime *by* a human

Well, let's stop all active criminal investigations, until we solve the ones in order of your preference.

And your attitude is what makes so many humans suck. Animals are living breathing beings with emotions that can feel every ounce of pain inflicted on them. You sir are not better than Puppy Doe and you should want the sadist prosecuted to the full extent. If he is doing this to animals his next step is your so called more precious life.. You could learn a thing or two from dogs. Love, compassion, loyalty, kindness and most amazingly their ability for forgivemess.

Does that make me a sadist?
Well that depends.

Do you beat the animals you eat repeatedly over a period of months? Pull their limbs from their sockets, break their bones, split their tongues in two, gouge out their eyes? If do then yes.

You would rather wait until this sick fuck does something similar to a child or a family member?
Don't say it won't happen, because it does. Sick fucks are sick fucks and their sick fuckery doesn't stop with animals. That's pretty well established by nowl.
The significance of this case

The significance of this case is that unspeakable torture was inflicted on a life that couldn't defend itself. Human or canine, makes no difference.
The Norfolk Count District Attorney took this case very seriously. From the get - go he recognized this suspect as very dangerous: if this is what he would do to a defenseless animal, he could do the same to a human.
We've since come to learn he was a home health care aide for an elderly woman. I don't think I speak for just myself when I say this person is *NOT* someone I want in charge of caring for the most vulnerable people in society.
About these unsolved crimes against humans

Start a Facebook page about them like a few women from Quincy did for Puppy Doe and make it your mission to track down all leads and help the investigations however you can. Hold vigils. Keep the crime in the public eye. I don't know if that's what led the police to find Puppy Doe's torturer but I don't think it hurt.
no one ever said that this

Illegal alien from Poland

The guy arrested in Ct. was reportedly an illegal alien from Poland living in the house next to the park where the dog was found on the very day that the 95 year old relative of his in the house died. He was there to take care of the relative, then left town.
Perhaps he was from around the town of Oswiecim.
Any word on the 95 year old relative?

I think this should trigger some suspicion of elder abuse.

Where does it say he was an illegal alien? Everything I'm seeing says he was a Polish immigrant, not an illegal aline.
