An inbound Orange Line train didn't even make it out of the starting gate at Oak Grove early this morning. Somewhere on the Ashmont branch of the Red Line, an outbound train felt that disturbance in the Force and went over to the dark side.

MBTA cards - Orange line - "see agent"

I have a monthly pass that gets reloaderd on my credit card automatically. It works fine 99% of the time on the bus only to fail at Forest Hills. It is becoming a regular frustration - I am getting the "see agent" message more than half the time. Also contrary to the agent's hypothosis, I am holding it still for a few seconds without blocking it with anything!
I asked the bus driver whether the chip in my card isbroken. He said that it if it working fine on the bus it isn't my card. Can someone at the MBTA do something about this. Today at Forest Hills it was happening on many machines to many people when I was there! HELP
