Some people in Dedham don't want icky crime-ridden Boston housing-project residents moving in (and never mind that the crime's gone down dramatically since the tenants of one particular apartment who'd been linked to six of the neighborhood's eight shootings in recent months were persuaded to move out).
That's about what I thought you were driving at...
... and I really don't think that's fair. I think it would be perfectly reasonable to be concerned if those rumors were actually true.

This is funny because I was just told today by someone's sister that works for the Dedham Planning Board that this in fact is going to be happening. So pretty much I now have to make sure my house alarm is set every night before I go to bed and make sure my cars are locked up and alarmed. Keep up the good work Dedham! Pretty soon we will be just like Hyde Park....Oh wait is Menino behind this relocating? Probably. Time to move!

If you want to invite in low-income residents of Boston to liven up your strip malls and bogs, then you're welcome to. But the Boston Housing Authority really can't just up and place people in other towns. So see a doctor about the hysteria before you start passing the ammunition and making more dead hamites.
