Boston Police say they had Mohammed Kaba, 21, of Roslindale, cornered in the Hip Zepi clothing store on Blue Hill Avenue yesterday afternoon, when he bolted:
Officers were waiting at the front door anticipating the suspects attempted escape and engaged him in a struggle after he broke the glass front door of the store. After a brief but violent struggle officers were able to place the suspect in handcuffs and arrest him.
Police say Kaba was already wanted for assault with intent to murder and a variety of drug and weapons charges. Because, they say, they found him with a loaded weapon and several bags of pot, he now faces a whole slew of new charges, including being an "armed career criminal." At 21.
Kaba was taken down by the Boston Police Fugitive Unit, the Boston Police SWAT team, the Homicide Unit and the Youth Violence Strike Force.
Meanwhile, female companions of some alleged thuglets learned an important lesson at 214 Harvard St. in Dorchester yesterday afternoon: If the police are busy arresting your boyfriends (ages 13 through 18) on trespassing and marijuana charges, and they ask you to leave the scene, you might want to do so rather than jump the cops, because then the police are going to arrest you as well, even if one of you is only 11.

Shoot 'em on sight!
Take 'em down!
Why do we need them alive and on this earth?
Allow cops to shoot on sight!
