South End party ends with teen shot in the back of the head

Boston Police report a 17-year-old was found shot outside a party at 5 Castle Ct. around 1:50 a.m.

Because of the seriousness of the man's injuries, the homicide unit was summoned. Stanley Staco reports that officers from other parts of the city were also called in, in part to help get a large number of witnesses to interviews with detectives.

not South Boston. Was in the area after work and Berkeley St. was shut down between Washington and Tremont, and Shawmut was closed south of Herald. Then to top it off there was a car wreck near Berkeley and Tremont at 3:30 am.

Hope the teen survives.
