The T just announced it's restored service between JFK/UMass and Ashmont. Braintree? That's another story.

Man. By this point I don't even care if I have to wait for 5 Alewife trains to go by on the Braintree line. I don't get if I get on the train and it stutters along to South Station. I am just so done with shuttle busses by this point. I can't wait for Braintree service to restore to ANY degree....

I was at Fields Corner at around 2:30 and did see a train pass by going inbound. I thought it was just clearing the tracks.
Thank God!

I don't have to repeat my 2-hour, 2-bus commute this morning, from Codman Square to Cambridge.
Happy dance!!

Hoping to take it Thursday and Friday.

The morning commute from Ashmont to Cambridge was fine. Waited about 6 minutes. The train didn't stop and start the way it usually does (on a fine spring day!). We even had the characters, like a sob story woman asking for money to get back to NYC because her boyfriend abandoned her in Boston. People were nice to her.
Feeling for Braintree Red Line commuters, though.
