By adamg on Sun, 05/03/2015 - 8:47pm
Boston Police report they are looking for a guy who came up behind two women and grabbed their buttocks around 1 a.m. Saturday on Gardner Street.
The female victims were walking with two other friends when they were approached from behind by a male suspect who simultaneously groped their buttocks. The suspect then quickly fled between nearby houses in the direction of Ashford Street.
When caught, the white man, 6' or 6'2" and the owner of "boot-style shoes," will face charges of indecent assault and battery, a felony.

Did they ever catch
the Allston Skirt Lifter from a few years ago? Could this be the same guy?
"boot-style shoes"
Was he also wearing "short-style pants"? Perhaps some "sun-style glasses" to hide his identity?
Maybe they were shoes (not
Maybe they were shoes (not covering the ankles) with boot-style soles (e.g. Doc Martens). Did that ever occur to you?
No
Don't try to derail my snark-style comments.

You gotta work harder than that around here, son.
Looking forward to follow-up headline:
Police grab Allston butt hunter
Wow, Adam...
...why do you post this stuff? It really brings the pigs out of the woodwork.
Pay the bills
Page 6 stuff brings eye-balls. Adam's got to pay his bills too....
The headline was possibly too flip for a case of sexual assault
But, no, I'm not going to stop posting about assault-and-battery cases. Unless everybody would prefer I just post photos of flowers in the Public Garden and adorable little dogs on the t.
Not for nothing...
So it's prime time for drunk idiots mulling around the GAP.
Seriously, you can put almost any sort of crime before that sentence and it would be realistic.
Not that it makes anything about this okay, but it's also not exactly news. Shit like this happens a lot on the weekends there. It's just the territory when you mix 19-20 year olds, excessive alcohol, and a crappy, dark neighborhood.
I'm surprised this is as much of a story as it is, really.
Just because it happens a lot doesn't make it OK
Even possibly drunken women walking in that area at night deserve not to be attacked like that. Maybe the real news is these two women finally got fed up enough to report it, rather than doing nothing.
I think it's news simply because it WAS reported
Good for her.
