The awning for Roxbury Awning Co. lists the address as 2711 Washington Street. The Type 5 is heading south toward Egleston Square.
The streetcar was built in 1923 and has no noticeable modifications, but shows a few years worth of wear. Let's say 1927.
The car is likely traveling on the Dudley - Forest Hills line via Washington Street, today's MBTA bus route 42.

Facing northwest. The Elevated is going northbound up Washington Street. The awning building is gone, with the lot currently empty. The stone wall behind the trolley car is still there, but I think the house on that lot is different today.

Wish we had elevated public transit again for the needed capacity.
