Area police are on the lookout for a supermarket shrimp thief after he hit a Pembroke store employee trying to take down his license-plate number - and then started to drive away with the worker on his hood.
Pembroke Police report the shellfish man walked out of the town's Stop & Shop on June 14 with two boxes of shrimp, worth $400:
Employee attempted to take a picture of the suspects license plate and suspect struck the employee with the vehicle and drove several hundred feet with the employee on the hood. The employee eventually fell from the vehicle sustaining injuries.
Police say he's pulled similar heists at the Hyde Park Shaw's and in Weymouth.

That's how you turn petty theft into attempted murder. You go shrimp dude. You'll like prison -- plenty of bottom feeders.
Dude, really?

is stealing our shrimp. I'm going to get a picture of his license plate by standing directly in front of his car.
File this action under "bulb, not the brightest."
It all makes sense now

Someone is obviously scheming to get rich off of high-quality photos of shrimp.

Is merely a prawn in a larger scheme to drive up the price of seafood.
