is getting the Lee Pool, which sits next-door to this spray deck, open and running. You can see the bathhouse from Storrow Drive. The pool most certainly was a beauty, deep, olympic sized, with a diving well and bleachers! What a shame that the pool now sits empty, used for random storage, while it could be enjoyed by the people of Boston! You might get your wish. The Beacon Hill Times reports that the DCR is looking for a private partner to help them rehabilitate the Lee Pool.

How many water spraying sidewalks can one city have? This looks like the one o the Greenway in front of the Aquarium. Plus there are more leaking sidewalks on the Greenway in the North End and a huge one at the Christian Science Center. Sure it is fun for the kids and that's great. How about some imagination and creativity in designing new fountains?

Stay out of Roslindale then - the city's putting one in at Fallon Field.

"Sure it is fun for the kids and that's great." That's the whole point of these things.
