Art in the wilderness

The Franklin Park Art Grove is a two-day pop-up exhibit in the Wilderness along the Jamaica Plain side of Franklin Park.
Enter through the parking lot that sits on the main park road between the zoo and Shattuck Hospital and walk along the paths (at least, through 6 p.m. on Sunday) for installations and thoughts in several languages tied around trees.
"Internal Reflections" by Kerri Schmidt and Dave Foley, above, is set amid a group of rotting picnic tables and is an "interactive structure [that] invites us reflect upon our sense of place, the importance of self, and interconnectedness to the whole."
