Adorable!
Never in my life have I seen
Never in my life have I seen so much trash left behind. Is it typical in Caribbean to jus throw things on the ground and not trash cans?
Someone's never been to a parade
There's a reason why the last "float" is the Public Works Department. At least it is in Roslindale.
Get a bunch of people together and the result is a ton of trash. Ethnicity has nothing to do with it.
The street sweeping crew did
The street sweeping crew did a damn good job, and I can only assume the above poster just didn't stick around long enough to see it. I mean, they were going back and forth making sure they got everything. I actually sat there the whole time watching, until I realized the parade was gone, lol.
In the Dominican Republic
In the Dominican Republic people throw their trash on the side of the road and later it gets burned. The Caribbean parade is really West Indian. Non Hispanic . Different countries than DR but I agree it is filthy.
Mashole culture
Not Caribbean. I guess you could say they assimilated?
Next time there is a Sportball Champions Parade or just the next year's St. Patrick's day parade, look around before the cleaners come through.
its called job security......
its called job security.......... respect to the dpw of doing a great job. cleaning up the rubbish...
Cups
Did you ever see all the cups left behind by all those litter bug marathoners?
