I would like to know if that building will be as high as the crane that's sitting beyond the roof line of this building , or are they done with the height.

Does anyone have an up to date photo of this building from the East Boston waterfront.

I would guess 1-2 more floors (probably 24-30 feet, not sure on the pent house roof heights), they said they were topping out mid September and its been about a floor a week). The mechanical roof will then probably be another 50+ feet. I believe the top of the last occupied floor is 625" and overall building height is about 685"

They are not done pouring concrete on the building, so it will continue to get taller at least until mid-September. But,
The total height of the finished building is supposed to be 685 feet, so it will not be as high as the crane is now.

If only if they can add a 100 foot tall antennae to the roof than it will be the tallest building.

The spire of the Prudential Tower tops out at 907ft easily topping the 885ft crane.

The (building formerly known as the) Hancock doesn't have a crane atop it.

You had me worried about the height for a second. My boss just noticed the building (from NU) for the first time today and asked if it was going to be the tallest building in Boston, and I was sure it was not going to be.
That should have a trigger warning!

I'm not afraid of heights so much as I'm afraid of ledges.
