The most Dukakis Thanksgiving story that ever Dukakised a turkey carcass
By adamg on Wed, 11/25/2015 - 7:15pm
Yes, of course Mike Dukakis saves turkey carcasses for months to make into soup, and yes, of course he's been known to take them on Amtrak with him, and yes, of course he gives out his home address so people can drop off their turkey carcasses.

Good for him. Typical Yankee
Good for him. Typical Yankee thriftiness with a dab of European ethnicity thrown in. It''s a great combo that's hard to find outside of the Northeast USA due to demographic differences.
So many more
reasons to love Gov. Dukakis.
De gustibus non est
De gustibus non est disputandum. De mortuis nil nisi bonum.
Sed
quare, si non ad disputandum sumus, in hoc foro scribimus? Et quando Dukakus quoque defunctus est?

Google is absolute crap at any fully inflected language, and any time a partially inflected language deviates from standard English word order.
I think Brookline is about to have a new type of turkey troubles
When daylight breaks on November 27th and there are hundreds of discarded turkey carcasses in front of 85 Perry Street.
Maybe Dukakis can make a little extra for Tsarnaev and friends
Dukakis should make some extra soup for the Tsarnaev clan and his mutual friend Robel Phillipos, convicted of lying to investigators after the Islamic terror attack on the Marathon. Dukakis testified on behalf of Phillipos while Kitty called the prosecution a "tragedy." Thankfully the jury saw right through it and Phillipos got prison. God bless the victims.
Adorable!
Superlative
A thumbs up does not adequately express how well I thought this 'adorable' was deployed. Elmer is the hero UHub needs and the the hero we deserve.
As an aside, Elmer, your webpage seems to indicate you dig classic House. Todd Terry is coming to town on Dec 4th at Good Life if you, or other UHub people, are into seeing live DJ sets. At least one UHubber (me) will be there.
Happy Thanksgiving to Adam and the UHub commentariat, you make my life in Boston richer on a regular basis.

Named After Elsie's Husband
(Well, I'm actually named after my Holstein-patterned cat, who was named after Elsie's husband, Elmer.)
I Am Thankful For Universal Hub
I am humbled by your lovely sentiment.
The real hero is Adam for succeeding in creating the most intelligent source of local news and discussion in Boston — Universal Hub is truly a treasure!
Thank you also for the tip about Good Life. I've never been there, but I certainly love dancing to House Music! Ever since Guilt closed, I've been looking for another place to dance on Fridays. (on Saturdays, I'm always at Paradise in Cambridge)
OT @monkeynaut — Thanks Again For Your Good Life Recommendation!
I had a wonderful time dancing last night!
If
God wanted to bless the victims, he wouldn't have blown their legs off in the first place. Go back to your cave.
He'll need more Turkey carcass
to feed all those Saudi Royal family members allowed to flee the US by republicans after 911.
How you manage to have a 100%
How you manage to have a 100% garbage opinion on 100% of topics is amazing. Actually, it might be a medical condition.
i thought this was real neat
until the part where he's taking other people's turkey carcasses
