Alleged bus banana buffer busted

Transit Police report arresting a Revere man they say was using one hand to watch a video on his phone and the other hand to do some self-lovin' " in close proximity" to a woman on a 65 bus rumbling down Brookline Avenue through the medical area.

The woman, less than enamored by his behavior, reported Francis Costa, 47, after the incident around 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 26, police say, adding they finally caught up with him, after an investigation, at his Revere home on Tuesday. Costa was charged with open and gross conduct.
