Never heard of an electric

Never heard of an electric bike... or gas-powered one for that matter. Is pedaling a bike considered not cool any longer? You kids are strange.

Maybe the car was double-parked by the hotel's valet and it was hit from behind which triggered a small explosion/fire.

Electric bikes

They seem to be valued by bike delivery people in NYC and other places. Also popular in hilly areas and with older folks.

They have become a bit of a nuisance on commuter routes in The Netherlands to the point where speed governors and regulations have been proposed. One guy was telling me that 75 year olds use them to go quite fast, but may lack some of the reaction times to deal with that speed.

p.s. lest anyone think I am dissing electric cars, let me just say that I will gladly take my chances with a 2016 Tesla Model S, if someone wants to get me one!
