Firefighters rescue person in Charles River near Mass. Ave. bridge

UPDATE: The man died; another man now faces a manslaughter charge for allegedly pushing him into the river.
Divers from BFD and State Police and firefighters from Boston and Cambridge went into the Charles near the Mass. Ave. bridge shortly after 5 p.m. on a report that somebody jumped or fell into the river. Around 5:27 p.m., firefighters found the man and got him out of the water. He was turned over to EMS for preparation to be transported to a local hospital.

This is the strangest article of the day. One new agency says he was pushed off one of the docs, but then rescuers took 20 minutes to 'find' him. really? Another article says he was pushed off a bridge, not the doc.
Now the Globe reports the guys pushed has died...
Something strange went on here, and no one seems to have the whole story....

Walked by yesterday after work around when this was going on, I think right as the victim was being transported to the hospital. The was a handle of svedka vodka sitting on the dock while state police had taped off the area and were questioning people.
