A plaintive Missed Connections strung out on light poles or an arty JP stunt?

One of numerous pleas along South Huntington, taken by a roving UHub photographer.
The light and trolley poles along South Huntington Avenue in front of Angell Memorial Hospital are now lined with pages of a plea for a reconnection from a man who wants to see the woman whose dog bit him, now that she seems to be taking a different path with the dog.
The writer starts by reassuring the dog owner he's not mad - in fact, getting bitten was kind of exciting and, oh, here's his number. But don't worry, he assures her on another flier, "please don't think that I'm crazy. I'm not crazy." He's just worried that the dog is OK and that she hasn't put her pet down just for biting some guy who reached out to pet him.
Besides, they had a connection, those three: He reminds the woman they used to pass on South Huntington and smile at each other. And he's sure the dog has good judgment and wouldn't bite him again - and that the pet must be sad because he can sense something is wrong and the changed route must mean the dog has lost his owner's trust.
The fliers seem to have been put up over several days - one of them wonders why the woman has yet to call him.

"I want him to see me" and "Please tell me he's eating"? If this is real, I can't help wondering if the dog acted based on a perceived threat.

I'm a little disappointed that I live in a world where nobody thinks that this is just a little sweet.
Obsessive
I could see a version of this being sweet. Maybe one note saying, "hey, I hope you and your dog are ok. I blame my actions for him biting me."
But this is obsessive. Too many notes, too much effort and thought put in. "I hope he's eating"? Guy sounds like he's talking about something other than a dog. Waaaay too much. What if she was away for a week and came back to find those creepy signs? I would definitely change my route after seeing that.
Guilt-mongering
Second note from the bottom-all that plaintive concern for the dog's well-being, that the addressee is harming the dog by changing her route? Overbearing and manipulative.
