Around noontime today, a fog came in from the outer harbor, blanketing the islands near Castle Island and Dorchester Bay in gray and even giving a hint of a chill along with water.

Fog line was around Savin Hill early this evening

I was biking from Fan Pier to Quincy and suddenly encountered the fog near Savin Hill around 7 pm. At first I wondered what was burning, but there was no smell of smoke. The temperature dropped about 10 degrees, too.
