New Hampshire Trump troll who wants to have Clinton executed has Cambridge roots
By adamg on Wed, 07/20/2016 - 7:32pm
Robert Winters reports the New Hampshire Trump guy who called for Clinton's execution today grew up in Cambridge, where his father worked at the DPW for many years. And his grandfather was longtime Cambridge City Councilor Al Vellucci. Al Baldasaro, who is a state rep, previously came to national attention by getting into an argument with another state rep over women's nipples.

Vellucci?
As in "Nipples" Vellucci of National Lampoon High School Year Book fame? How ironic that he would be the nephew of Nipples!
Vellucci was a nutter into vendettas, too. Sounds like this piece of work owes his privilege and good fortune to socialism. Heh.
Whadda piece of no-work!
A poser and a
POG.
who cares? this is hilary
who cares? this is hilary country anyways....
You don't care?
Thanks for letting us know.

Remember the lie
Remember when Powell went before the UN to claim Iraq had WMDs? Remember how the previous administration used disinformation to justify a war which has killed hundreds of thousands, cost trillions of dollars, and destabilized the middle East such that far worse groups such as ISIS have formed from the chaos left in the wake of that war?
I haven't forgotten.
Sometimes I stop and think
Sometimes I stop and think about that, and how nobody involved in those lies suffered any consequences whatsoever, and how the nation as a whole seems to have developed amnesia about it (except, of course, for this long lasting, doubly entrenched, with-us-or-against-us social mentality that's particularly terrifying in young adults that were born during the early aughts). It's a very strange form of... denial? Embarrassment? Lack of self-awareness? I mean, this was an era where people used "freedom fries" unironically and yet....
What's your point. Is it
What's your point. Is it that one of the Presidential candidates voted for the war?
Remember how the NYT came out
Remember how the NYT came out with a report in 2014 stating there were WMDs found in Iraq? Roughly 5,000 chemical warheads were according to the report. Remember how Iraq violated several UN Resolutions including interfering and kicking out UN Weapons inspectors? Remember how this was VOTED on in Congress in which 29 of 50 Democratic Senators voted for it including the likes of Joe Biden, Joe Lieberman, Harry Reid and Hillary Clinton? Remember President Obama all but admitted that pulling most of the remaining troops in Iraq was a mistake and lead to the rise of ISIS? Iraq was alot more stable in 2008 was Bush handed to Obama, than after Obama foolishly and naively implemented his incredibly laughable foreign policy efforts. Libya? Yemen? Red lines in Syria? Now three secret side deals with that terrible Iran Nuclear Deal?
I haven't forgotten...

NYT On WMDs
It might help you to read the article. The weapons they found dated back to the 1980s when Iraq was preparing for war with Iran. Most of these weapons had degraded to the point of not being useful for active combat but extremely dangerous to those around them, such as the US forces that were destroying and cataloguing what was there.
The military didn't make a big deal about these because they were not the newly developed weapons that supposedly justified the invasion of Iraq. Furthermore, many of these 80s WMDs were created with US help either directly or indirectly. No one politically wanted to remind the public that Saddam was our friend before he was our enemy.
Obama's policies have been wrong on their own right and both Clintons aren't blameless. But the invasion of Iraq will go down in history as one of America's worst military and political mistakes and stoked the fires which have led to tremendous losses of life and money for decades to come, including the rise of ISIS, Syria, Iran's power grabs, etc.
Iraq was far more stable before Bush decided to invade -- an invasion justified on lies and disinformation. Political parties on both sides have had horrible middle east policies dating back centuries so lets not ignore actions of one party while focusing on another. The worst thing a country can do is lie to justify war. The 2nd worst thing a country can do is forget its history.
I did read the article. Like
I did read the article. Like you said, they were old WMDs but existed nonetheless and posed a threat. I am not defending the invasion of Iraq and I like many people found it foolish but to suggest the justification to go to war was based on lies is simply wrong. There were many other significant reasons to oust Saddam, such as his brutal repression of its people, UN civil rights violations, trying to obtain nuclear materials etc.
And yes Iraq was stable if you're okay with a brutal Dictator murdering and repressing their own people. Similar to what Assad is doing now and in spite of not doing anything we are expected to help all these refugees? Obama certainly could have enforced his "red line" and perhaps the result would be a more disastrous Syria than currently exists. Hindsight is 20-20...
Remember how all the intelligence on which the NY Times
based its reporting and Congresspeople based their votes for the Iraq invasion was fabricated by W and his administration?
Clearly you have forgotten. Funny how selective your memory is.
"Selective memory" such as
"Selective memory" such as facts that can verified by Googling? Fabricated by W? All the "Congresspeople" were reading the same intelligence. Also, you think the UN was in on this fix? The UN told their weapons inspectors to lie? Its much easier and lazier to parrot some stupid liberal talking points like "Bush lied people died."
If you want lies and fabrication on behalf of the Obama Administration, I'm happy to provide. We can start with "If you like your Doctor, you can keep it..."
Sorry, I didn't notice it was you I was responding to, CCD.
My apologies for taking you seriously. I'll try not to let that happen again.
And sorry for thinking you
And sorry for thinking you were capable of having an intelligent conversation.
There are plenty of commenters on uHub, including
conservative ones, who have the intellectual honesty and unblinkered view of history to merit holding a discussion with. You're just not one of them, CCD.
Keep trying, though. Some people enjoy playing with troglodytes.
Those branches of the family
Those branches of the family still rooted in Cambridge are some of the finest people in Out Fair City. You can't choose your relatives, but you can choose your friends and neighbors.
What a disaster this guy is..
What a disaster this guy is... a shit-stirring extremist who has NO BUSINESS representing decent civilized Americans from NH.
I grew up in southern NH and still have family there. They are horrified by the state of the Republican party, as are most moderate Republicans.
So you really think it's a
So you really think it's a good idea to chase down politicians to the third generation? What are you going to do next, kill his first born son? Nice people you are.
