The tourists will love it
Especially when they wake up in their beautiful room, pull open the curtains to reveal...
A power plant, the MWRA, a bunch of scrap dealers and a grid locked Sullivan square.
Have you been to the site?

The site is sandwiched between the railroad track on the NBPT/Rockport line (with a costco on the other side) and the MWRA on Alford. The Mystic Powerplant is across the street from the MWRA. Based on the artist's rendering of the building, the main view will be of the MBTA bus garage across the mystic river.
The oil smell from the mobil plant on Robin and Beacham street probably wont matter too much though, since everyone will be inside gambling.

Blue collar jobs are the backbone of the American economy. My only question is will the MBTA have a station near by for the casino crowd to take home after they have lost all their cash at the slots.

Wynn offered to build a bridge to get to it, as it is across the water. Curtatone has been fighting that all the while whining about traffic.

If an MBTA station was integral to a local casino, they would have awarded it to Suffolk Downs.

There are problems with the angle and slope of the bridge of the OL that would make putting an infill stop difficult if not impossible due to safety regulations and stopping distance etc.
A simple tram is all you need

An inexpensive airport-like tram is all they would need, to connect to Wellington, Assembly, or Sullivan stations.
Nevermind the old tram that used to be at wellington...
