Brett reports this sign, posted on Dot. Ave. by the Peabody Square fire house, is "one of the most Dorchester things I've ever seen."

Gotta love the snippy comments of the almost got into Oberlin crowd in the old neighborhood as they opine on life there.

Thanks for increasing the cash flow on the inheritance Brett but please don't insult the intelligence of the neighborhood based on one sign.

I'm not a resident but it is true that characterizing neighborhoods that way isn't really accurate. It's just perfectly fine area. Not everything needs to be turned into something snarky. It's just a notice.

This is a pretty old school Boston sign but nothing specifically Dot about it.

True Dot sign from back in the day would be more like:
