This is fronting on Tremont, westerly side.
Today it is the Douglas Park apartments.
The site was sold in the 60's after the T decided that good transit service in a then working class primarily African American Boston neighborhood wasn't worth the effort. Wow, that sounds awfully familiar. Did I hear something about that recently?

I think the steeple looks more like People's Baptist on Tremont in Lower Roxbury - Link.
