Definitely has to be somewhere in Southie. There (Division Five) had the largest amount of single-track operation. It seemed every other street in the chunk bounded by Dorchester Avenue, Dorchester Street and Broadway had trackage and service from the 1880s into the late teens.
My best guess: B Street?

Thanks for playing folks! This photo was taken at 1642 West 5th Street in South Boston in the winter of 1923/1924. Its between A and B Streets, at the bridge over an access road.

Looks like we made a mistake on the street number. Sorry folks! 1642 is more likely the street car number than the street number. Our sources tell us that the street number is likely to be in the 40s.
