Andrew Square? Looks like it was 502 Swett St, which is now Southampton St. I believe the building at 580 Dorchester Ave is the building on the far right.

I agree with Nate. The 1918 Boston Business Register has John T. Duke & Co. listed at 581 Dorchester Ave in the "Liquors,Wines & C" section. I expect the hole in the center of the frame has to do with the forthcoming Andrew Sq. subway station. 1918 also happens to be the year Andrew Sq station opened.

That's the corner of Broadway and Dorchester Street in Southie. The date is much tougher. I'm going to guess early in the 20th century, maybe 1910.

Thanks for playing, folks! This photo was taken on July 15, 1916. The children are standing in front of 507 Southampton Street. The photo was taken to document the condition of the sidewalk during the construction of the Dorchester Tunnel.
