Martin Ray Moser posted photos of the damage done to some of the field at the West Roxbury park by somebody who thought it would be fun to do doughnuts in a car there.

My cat wakes up at 1:45 AM and goes crazy. He stole my car keys once, but was foiled by the fact that he doesn't have opposable thumbs.
These newfangled push button start car owners are in for a surprise...
At least they're making an effort to restore the fields

Unlike with the DCR and Draw 7 Park in Somerville, where some moron authorized the use of the soccer field as a snow dump during the Winter of Snowaggedon. Not only did they not remove the goals beforehand, which led to both of them being destroyed under the weight of piled-up snow, but they have yet to restore the field to its pre-snow storage condition.

They will presumably have to strip up the soil there. Who knows what kind of garbage from the streets ended up on that field. Syringes, etc.

All the original bad stuff is covered with at least a couple feet of clay. And then they probably put more stuff on top of that, and then the dirt and grass. So unless they're really careless, they're not going to reach the trash layer.
Just infuriating

I'll never understand why people need to be a-holes, especially around stuff that is primarily for kids. Like burning the playground at the Mozart.
