Davis Square to get eatery specializing in round food

Boston Restaurant Talk reports the impending opening of a new outlet that sells bagels and donuts.
No word if they will also sell arancini, pancakes, certain Chinese sticky buns and sourdough bread, but they should. And then they could call it Round the World or something.

Toroid
They could call it "Toroid". Or "Platelet" if they added bialys to the menu.
The Science Of Material Perception
I work for labs with people who are a lot smarter than me, studying various kinds of human perception.
Our brains can instantly perceive qualities of materials โ what something is made of, whether it's real or fake, hard or soft, etc. โ but it's very difficult to teach a computer to recognize those things.
One of the students I worked for presented a paper on Material Perception that talked about discerning bagels from doughnuts โ part of unlocking the secrets of how our brains work!
No Place To Go When You Want A Square Meal
idk elmer
try four corners up north of the city a bit
Boxed in
Or "3 Squares" in Needham. Good food and fancy drinks!
Nah, bagels and most donuts
Nah, bagels and most donuts have holes in the middle. I think that takes your suggestions out of the running, and I dunno that "A Hole in the World" would work so well. You'd drag in the Angel fans, maybe?
What about traffic impacts...?
They should put in a ...round-a-bout?
its a good joke
but im not gonna lie; before i read the body of the post i was triggered by the subject
Think of the children
They better have at least 2 parking spots for each customer (plus a bike rack and Hubway station, of course.)
I must protest
Is it called Davis Circle? No, it's Davis SQUARE, by god, and we don't want a lot of curvy-edged interlopers gentrifying the place. If you want to open a donut-and-bagel place, do it in Audobon Circle.

Davis Triangle?
It ain't a square, that's for sure!
Ball R Square?
As a resident of Somerville's Ball Square, I must confess that the city is geometrically challenged.
I'm sure it'll just be a
I'm sure it'll just be a torus trap.
[can't claim credit for that one, sadly]
But will it have Ovaltine?
