Indian coriander

Tyler Fitzpatrick asks:

I'm the brewer at Lamplighter in Cambridge, looking for a local Indian market to get some Indian coriander. Know of any?

He's literally surrounded by several worthy options.

A few within close walking distance even.

Don't be like Tyler, people.

Go walk around your neighborhood.

Chickpeas around India appear to be smaller and darker than chickpeas around North America... maybe different species.

Fresh, dried, seeds or ground? Seeds and ground will be found at local indian markets. I use fresh cilantro for coriander, and have never seen dried coriander leaves (I've used dried cilantro, but it doesn't impart the same flavor).

There is also Google and Amazon if our help is useless.

The green plant as well as the seed. But they have much different flavors, and generally coriander/cilantro leaf is used to garnish/flavor a curry just at the end of cooking.

Looking through the replies on Twitter, it looks like he's looking for a really big coriander seed. I'm not sure if he's mistaken about the size of coriander seeds or if there's another strain that's much larger than the bulk seeds you can buy at any of the stores listed.
