...who has noticed a higher-than-usual influx of wild turkeys in the city lately? I was working from home one day last week, went out on my back deck, and spotted three turkeys on nearby rooftops. Lived here in Southie for 10+ years, and I've never seen that before. If this is part of normal migratory patterns, then no worries, I'd just like to know.

It's illegal to hunt within the confines of Greater Brookline and good luck getting an unrestricted gun license in Greater Brookline if you aren't rich, white, and connected.
It's like the turkeys know to strike where humans can least fight back.
They are using humanity's laws against itself! Clever birds....

Tons of them out near Mass. Wildlife Center. With all the guns out in that neighborhood (unlike Brookline), they really better watch out! Easy to get guns out there. Just ask your next door neighbor orclassmate.

The trot of shame happens to the best of us sometimes after a hard night celebrating our glorious revolutionary activities downtown.

Was pretty sure there's a good hot Chinese hot-pot place around here somewhere.
"Lots of great vegetables, plus it's the one bowl of simmering broth that doesn't make me nervous."
