which was already airborne. It's been common practice for as long as I can recall for news stations that contract with MetroTraffic/SmartRoutes, etc to divert them from filming traffic to covering news stories from the air.
Now, whether a derailed out of service streetcar justifies a "Live from the sky" shot is another matter.

It looks like a Type 7. Also looks like it split a switch. That's back in the yard; and they can operate CC as a stub terminal (see Monday, Marathon).
