Trumpland, MA: Anti-semitic graffiti sprayed on Marblehead seawall

Marblehead residents are scheduled for a No Place for Hate rally at Riverhead Beach at 10 a.m. today to protest the anti-Semitic graffiti (with a couple of pro-Trump, anti-Moulton tags) found on a seawall there over the weekend.

Worldviews
Some posts have referred to a racist worldview, but I'm not sure that whoever did this has a worldview. It looks very juvenile, like someone writing obscenities on a public bathroom wall, just because they can. The world has changed for the better; words for excrement and sex organs don't shock us much anymore, but racism does. I think whoever wrote this wanted to shock and offend people, and chose the worst words and images that they could think of.
Don't get me wrong, I think that they will become racists, if they aren't already; in fact I think this is one of the main ways people become racist in modern America. People who like to offend other people try it on, enjoy it, and keep at it. Racism is a package of beliefs perfectly suited for assholes, and when people are growing up to be assholes it is there waiting for them. Racism draws assholes like shit draws flies. It's a natural combination.
