18-year-old charged with Grove Hall murder

Boston Police report arresting Khamonie McCallop, 18, of Roxbury, on charges he shot and killed Christopher Menard, 17, at Blue Hill Avenue and Cheney Street on July 6.

A 14-year-old was also shot in the incident, but is expected to survive.

McCallop, arrested on Homestead Street, is expected to be arraigned today in Roxbury Municipal Court, police say.

Menard leaves his mother, Junie Joseph, according to a friend who has set up a page to help her with paying for the funeral.
