WCVB reports officials are investigating how a car on the Newburyport/Rockport Line train separated from the rest of the train yesterday.

The hero trapped the henchman on the rear of the train and pulled the lever disconnecting the train car, thereby making his escape. Presumably the henchman waved his fist in anger as the train pulled away. Classic move.
