I'm not sure what part of that is more hilarious: the idea that mocking = outrage, or the notion that outrage is some kind of precious limited commodity that we must not "squander".

If you have a company that:
Endorses and supports mean-spiritedness, and
Adheres to a religious tradition regarding when to open for business
then it is at best a distraction and at worse needless alienation of potential allies to mock that company for point #2.

If, on the other hand, you can walk and chew gum at the same time, you can probably do both of those things and not break a sweat.

When #1 is directly caused by the same religious tradition from #2... yeah it's ok to make fun of people who believe in woo woo.

Roasting chicken pieces in the oven is much easier. Pointed in the right direction, I think most people could figure it out and prepare a healthier, less expensive, and even more delicious meal — if they wanted to.

Packaged, pre-prepared foods have been so over-marketed, most people don't realize how easy it is to cook from scratch. Roasting is a particularly easy way to cook, because the food doesn't need to be tended or stirred very often — just set a timer and do something else. When roasting foods such as chicken pieces: line the pan with parchment paper and there'll be little cleanup needed later!

Unless you learn from your grandmother, people nowadays have to actively seek knowledge of basic cooking skills. Fresh produce doesn't come with cooking instructions. As simple as it is to do, if no one's ever shown you how to cook delicious, fresh food, ... well, you just wouldn't know how easy it is. The packaged food industry certainly doesn't want you to know.
