When people ask what the value of taking classes outside of ones major is, this is a good example of a success story. This student was outside of his normal wheelhouse and presumably those before him all fit a different mold... Presenting students with a wider range of knowledge creates situations like this on a daily basis, it is just not nearly as obvious.
