Proposed multi-story private club in the Back Bay now a proposed multi-story residential building
By adamg on Fri, 01/05/2018 - 2:37pm
The developers behind a proposed private club for well off Millennials at 29 Commonweath Ave. will withdraw their plans, now before the zoning board, and instead file plans to turn the building into luxury residential units, the Boston Sun reports.
But Millennials with more money than they know what to do with needn't fret: The Sun reports the developers will be looking for a different space in the Back Bay for a more genteel and pricier version of a multi-story Dave & Buster's.

A private club for well-off millenials..
..Sounds like trust fund-snob city..
Good. Comm. Ave. in Back Bay
Good. Comm. Ave. in Back Bay already has to deal with plenty of double-parking every time the Algonquin Club has an event. This is a residential area... 1%ers want an adult indoor playground? Build it in the Seaport.
Good idea
If it's in the Seaport, they'll be able to take Polar Bear dips on days like yesterday.
Disco on top floor... SouthEast corner of Mass Av & Newbury
What ever happened with the proposal for a "Disco" on the top floor?... of the Building on the SouthEast corner of Massachusetts Avenue and Newbury Street.
Because God forbid if they
Because God forbid if they socialize with the have nots! Private club for ignorant, out-of-touch bigots. She probably already has the membership list from her own inner circle of carefully chosen donors who have the deepest pockets. Kiss my ghetto ass!!
