By adamg on Mon, 03/19/2018 - 7:19pm
Brookline Police report numerous cars were broken into and rummaged through this past weekend.
Cars on Buckminster Road, Clinton Road and Leicester Street had spare change and unspecified items removed, police say.
Police add that as the investigation continues, they are urging residents to "place any valuables within your vehicle out of sight, in addition to making sure windows are rolled-up and that your vehicle is locked."

Wow. Fisher Hill looks like
Wow. Fisher Hill looks like mansions from Rt 9. I thought that place had a gate that didn't let anyone other than the residents through. Then again, Versace's mansion did, too.
That's Fisher Hill Estates
Which is different from the streets off Chestnut Hill Avenue between Rte. 9 and the Reservoir T stop. Those are all public streets. Still big houses, though.
Gated?
If this is a gated community, it doesn't seem to have kept the Google Street View car out. Also, how can Boylston Street be both Route 9 and a small winding residential street in Fisher Hill?

Those aren't the estates.....
Those are townhouses on Rt. 9.
Behind those is the gated community.
What gated community means in Massachusetts
Nothing.
For clarity, the car thieves
For clarity, the car thieves hit the public roads/streets on Fisher Hill, very accessible by anyone who can walk or have a vehicle. Specific properties like Fisher Hill Estates is gated. The presumption that the entire hill is gated is silly... remember that Newbury College is on this hill. This is coming from someone who grew up in this part of the area and drive through it all the time.
Crookline
The great town of Brookline just paid out Over $100,000 to a Black officer due to Police Racism by White officer's. Brookline where you should lock your car, and also Beware for Racist White Police With just another Racist Problem. Massachusetts it's a nice place, For Some.
The whole damned Bay State, and the whole country, for that
matter, are racist to the core. They always have been, and always will be, as far as I can see, since history keeps on rhyming.
