Ye olde wireless wire communication

Can't they find any real crimes to prosecute?
So now the cops get to tell you who can and can't sleep over at your apartment. I didn't know they have dorm master privileges in Boston. Boy, if they came into my house and tried to push my guests around, I'd...
Well, I guess I shouldn't tape cops acting like thugs in my house. Because then I'd be violating the double-secret wireless wire interception without wires clause.
Seriously, don't Boston's douchebag cops (I take it on trust there are non-douchebag cops out there too) have anything better to do? They know these charges aren't going to stick because they're bullshit charges, but they're just being dicks because they're pissed off. I'm surprised they didn't go see if the mattress tags had been torn off. Book 'em, Dano!
Perhaps would-be slumberers should put a warning above their front doors: "Anybody entering these premises consents to be recorded in video and audio by the proprietor." Call it a EULA.

They wanted a bunch of way too-drunk people to head out into the night ... meaning, driving home drunk or throwing up on the T or stumbling around impaired only to become targets of a real crime.
Real schmart.
Discretionary punishment, aka police hooliganism
By Gareth

It's a form of discretionary punishment in which the cop is judge and jury. The charges themselves will be thrown out in court. But the victims had to go to jail, miss work to go to court, and probably shell out hundreds of bucks for a lawyer. The arrest is on their records now, and may affect future employment by coming up in background checks. The cops know the charges are lame, but are using the power they have to punish the victims physically and financially.
Cops like that should be thrown out on their ears. Bad cops hurt law enforcement and create a climate of distrust good cops have to deal with. Even law-abiding citizens like myself would never let cops into our houses because so many of them are just common hoodlums with special powers.
Cops

The classic MO of a Cop: typically, these are people of lesser intellectual prowess that try to compensate in their inabilities by abusing their authority and harassing citizens with erroneous charges. Boston/Massachusetts cops are essentially "tough guys" caught up in a fascist like regime evoking fear in people that are innocent. Let us not forget about the retard that pulled over a woman going into labor about a month ago. I know of few cops that are genuinely "good cops," but that figure is nominal. We can't equate people that scored an 87 on a civil service exam with having intelligence or literacy. Cops are generally people that couldn't finish a semester of college at Mass Bay. And what's with the obligatory hi and tight hair cut? Cops, lacking in every aspect of civility, decency and style.
