Transit Police report arresting David Jones, 56, on charges he exposed himself to a woman pushing her infant in a stroller and made an "inappropriate" comment to her at the JFK/UMass T stop around 6:40 p.m. on Friday.
Police say officers found Jones in the station mezzanine and that they were able to overcome his initial reluctance to be taken into custody. He was charged with lewd and lascivious conduct, police say.
Innocent, etc.

JFK station attracts tourists to the JFK Library, families who flock to nearby beaches and thousands of students from local schools and U-Mass Boston. A few years ago the Transit Police officer who worked there was a spitfire and she kept the station crime free. Now the police office is closed and you never see a Transit cop. Hopefully the local politicians can convince the MBTA to reopen the police office and station an officer there.

Is there an appropriate age for somebody to encounter some guy exposing himself?
This could have happened in a supermarket, and I'm sure your kids have come across naked folks on that Internet. Just teach them to scream "no!" to draw attention and they should be fine with daytime travel around their city. Don't let creeps win.

It's much less likely to occur in a supermarket, because staff would see this guy acting suspiciously and ask him to leave.

... handled a creep on the Red Line pretty well a few weeks ago. The guy was staring at him and suggested they go for coffee and the 13 year old stared right back and said, “You don’t how young I am.” The guy apologized and backed off. I think he knew very well this boy was underaged but understand he didn’t have a chance.

He is not a rapist, really an drunk 8 year old in a grown mans body who has never had and will never have a normal life. Ask your beloved Charlie Baker to properly fund MA DMH like any first world Governor would and things could be cleaner and brighter in Boston, certianly better robed.

But many rapists start out with lewd behavior like exposing themselves. This man’s intention was to frighten his victim.

Indecent exposers did not typically move on to more violent sexual crimes.

But you seemed to suggest...
