Car flips over at complex Roslindale intersection
By adamg on Sun, 05/20/2018 - 12:46pm
Sean shows us the car turned turtle at the intersection of American Legion and Cummins highways with Canterbury Street around 11:45 a.m. At least firefighters didn't have to go far to render aid - the firehouse for Engine 53 and Ladder 16 is right at the intersection.

Someone please explain
How does a car flip over like that?
Not a snarky question. Hope the driver, passengers are ok.
It doesn't take much

In slow motion
When these cars collided, it was like slow motion, but the car on its top, actually flipped twice hit a NIssan Versa (not shown) and rested in the position you see it in. The driver crawled out and was taken away.
Ahh New Yorkers
Ahh New Yorkers
Not necessarily
Could be a rental, in which case, it could be a New Yorker, or it could be anybody else.
That said
Every time I cross Stuart Street at Dartmouth Street, I am amazed by the poor driving skills of the drivers of cars with license plates from the Tri-State area. Those cars with the yellow plates sometimes slow to a crawl when they exit the Turnpike, as if they’ve never been in a city before.
Terrible intersection
I'm amazed there aren't more accidents there. It's a terrible intersection. Hope everyone's ok.
