Brittney Moon reports that the terror tom who had been going after students, teachers and parents for two weeks at the Haley School in Roslindale has a new home this morning: the Myles Standish Forest in Plymouth. Moon says that a sergeant from state Environmental Police managed to capture the angry walking party platter for transport way down the coast, far away from American Legion Highway.

Police are looking for a driver who crashed into another car on American Legion Highway at Mt. Hope Street Wednesday afternoon - hard enough to flip the other car over.
The crash occurred shortly before 4 p.m. when the driver - whom police say had been spotted speeding and driving erratically moments before - plowed into a car whose driver was turning left onto Mt. Hope. The driver, whose vehicle had been reported stolen, stopped and helped the other driver - who was not injured - out of the car, then walked away.
A developer working with the Home for Little Wanderers is seeking city permission to build an all new facility - and 120 condominiums and apartments, some of which would be for Home clients aging out of the state foster-care system - on the Home's 2.6-acre site at 780 American Legion Highway. Police are looking for two guys who tried to break into the rear of Popeyes on American Legion Highway with a bolt cutter around 11 a.m., only to be confronted by an employee, who scared them off. One of the suspects was described as black, 5'2" and missing teeth.
