Mennonites are also Anabaptist, but they aren't Amish. They use technology, among other differences. (See the microphones in the photo? They drive trucks, too.)

They want to be separated from the grid.

It's also about whether the technology would be disruptive to family life.
Hence telephones in a shed out in the field, rather than in the house.

Floral prints on the dresses — that'd be pretty showy for most Amish. But these kinds of rules vary widely between congregations, since there is no central authority or (much) hierarchy. Historically Amish and Mennonites are very close, with the Amish splitting in a schism over the ban (shunning). Today there are not very many conservative Mennonite churches like this one. Compare http://www.mennonitecongregationofboston.org/ (There is still singing, because of course there is.)

God has blessed them with hope and peace in their hearts.
Wish y'all the same!!!

there is that small detail about all unbelievers spending eternity in hell. The Mennonites don't push that doctrine very hard (they don't push anything; they aren't much for evangelizing), but they do believe it. The verse from John 14 that proclaims the gospel from the front of that tent is incomplete; the rest of it is "No one comes to the Father except through me." Not exactly welcoming, is it?
