As you can see the last six most important things you need to know about from the Managing Editor of the Boston Globe are:
1) Liverpool Wins and LPH watched with some legends whose names she couldn't be bothered to remember.
#Snapchat !
2) LPH got to go in the mens locker room with players who really know what to do with balls!
#Needsome !
3) Daddy made a funny five years ago !
#It'sbeenawhile !
4) Someones in the front Row :)
#Nevermind
5) Liverpool has a new Brazilian goal keeper named Allison.
#Merseysidecrush
6) There was like this really cool conference where they came up with a new word for one of the oldest jobs in the
world, it's called being an entrepreneur. I think it's French or something, I asked my friend Martin but he doesn't speak fluently. Funny because Martin is a French name so you think he would understand. I looked it up on the Wiki's which is where all my underlings do their best research: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martin_(name) You would like really think he would, since all my besties are telling me rumors that he is coming out of the closet. You know how those French are ;) I was even having dinner in the Seaport recently and the waiter even literally like told me that he was very frou frou... My gosh, if the waiters in Boston know, how long until the Globe finds out?
What was I talking about again? Oh, yes, Women's Power !!! More women need to understand how to grow their hair long, wear red dresses and heels and do their makeup just right!!! Don't forget your nails ! I'm always telling Joan Vennocchi that if she wants to move up the corporate ladder she needs to dress more like I do. Clothes make the woman! I've offered to help her, but she keeps wanting to type and read and do research. BORING! That's not how you get on the cover of Boston Magazine.

I'm not defending her or saying she is the most qualified person for her job at the Globe, but people seem to be very invested in her. It doesn't seem healthy.
More influential than the Mayor, the Governor, Elizabeth Warren, the heads of Fidelity, GE, NECCO, State Street, and Todd English. And definitely more influential than her codger husband.
Maybe if people would like read some important articles they wouldn't have such silly questions.
Newspapers are dying because they are selling a garbage product. Independent reporters online now have the tools to independently publish and the necessity of pooling within, what amounted to a print distribution companies are no longer there.
We are living in a golden age of journalism. It's just that it is now self published and promoted. The dying legacy media can't accept this and thus runs with DOOOOM! headlines lamenting "the death of journalism" when journalism has really transformed back into self published journals online instead of at the mercy of print syndicates.
Come on Waquoit, you're painting me with a broad brush here. Just poking a little fun at the Globe. I read both papers, and never said the Globe doesn't matter.
Beth Teitell, who wrote the fanny pack article, was one of my favorite columnists when she wrote for the Herald. Very funny and thoughtful. I think the Globe is wasting her talents assigning her to cover some of the topics she writes about, like how to look younger.
Good. Maybe they can stop sending my deceased husband mail. I called them 4 times since he died 4 months ago and it won't stop. They're trying to get dead people to buy their newspaper!!

Which is why the Globe references articles from Adam much more than Adam references articles from the Globe.
In the end, you get what you pay for, which is why one of the best websites of “independent reporting” has a single reporter.
