Another write-in candidate against Wilkerson

Those teases at Blue Mass. Group say another Democrat could be getting ready to run a sticker campaign against state Sen. Dianne Wilkerson - but don't say who.

Because the incumbent forgot how to collect enough signatures on time, she is herself running a sticker campaign, currently against Sonia Chang-Diaz, another Democrat (Blue Mass. Group interview with her), and Samiyah Diaz, an alleged Republican who is running her sticker campaign in the Democratic primary next month.

Wouldn't it be interesting if it were Tom Finneran? Yes, I am completely making that up.

The person running against Wilkerson may not be running in the primary. He may be waiting for the general election. Less competition.

... would be running against names already on the ballot. That's much more difficult.

Samiyah Diaz was not an "alleged Republican" -- she described herself as a Weld Republican.

So what is she doing running a sticker campaign in a Democratic primary? If she wins, would she have to give up the Republican nomination? I thought state law prohibited running as the nominee of more than one party.
