Transit Police report arresting a Malden man (um, of course?) at the Oak Grove Orange Line station last night after he allegedly urinated on a parked Transit Police cruiser and then, with that out of his system, ripped off one of its license plates and tried to smash in a window.

Police say officers were able to arrest Nelson Faria, 41, on charges of malicious destruction of property and resisting arrest after a brief struggle around 9:40 p.m. on Thursday.

In addition to Transit Police, Malden police officers and firefighters also arrived on scene.

Innocent, etc.

He's 41? Taxi mile. Looks at least 71+.

He was arrested for his 2nd DUI in 2016 and he was 39.

Being a repeat offender is a tough life.

I can't imagine that this isn't getting passed around in Malden.

Also - did the fire dept arrive to hose down the cruiser from urine burns?

I don't usually use bad puns on crime stories, though, but, um, this one, it just flowed. ...

I can only assume the fire department arrived for a hose down.

Let's not piss all over Malden. Doing so reeks of yellow journalism! (sorry, that's all I could come up with)

That stereotype isn't so true anymore. On the one hand, people that do stupid things seem to be disproportionately FROM here. But Malden itself is increasingly diverse. We even have some residents that DON'T urinate on police cars or steal Red Sox banners.

People may look at the story and think that it might be funny. I look at this story and the only thing did I get from this is the on- going aggressive violence against law enforcement.
As minor as it appears to people deranged individual destructive Behavior. It's just a long list of unprovoked an unwarranted violence against law enforcement.

I'm sure that there are some law enforcement Personnel that do need to be pissed on but I'll let the brothers and blue hopefully start getting balls and identifying those type of offices and do their own pissing on.

Your are aware. Anthony, that he urinated on a police car, not an officer?

Officer's are members of law enforcement, police cars are not. By no stretch of the imagination does peeing on a police car constitute violence against law enforcement.
