Roslindale cancels Saturday farmers market due to high-wind forecast

Roslindale Village Main Street says a forecast that includes gusts up to 45 m.p.h. means Adams Park would be fit for neither man nor beast - nor vendors' tents - tomorrow.

Also canceled: The Dia de los Muertos party at the Roslindale BPL branch.

Perhaps they can advise the BAA next spring if foul weather is forecast for Marathon Monday.
