That's really cool, like a 'land cruise.' Of course, it's about $1,000 per guest per day....

But getting more and more difficult to ride apparently - some of my train buddies said there are fewer and fewer trains that will allow these cars to connect to their consists. Probably a combination of factors - cost, liability and fewer and fewer Amtrak trains to connect to.

I haven't heard about any Amtrak cuts in the last few years.

And not sure they are allowing the private cars to connect to as many trains. rumors of liability issues and more - but who knows.
