Outside 98 Heath St., where a car was also hit with gunfire, shortly after 10 p.m., although the victim was found in 106 Heath St.
UPDATE: Suspect arrested.

has been particularly plagued with violence, and nobody knows why.

Heath Street Gang is a rather robust gang with many active feuds with other gangs, such as Orchard Park and H Block.

The first radio call I heard
Was about 9:10 p.m. and I usually figure the gunfire was a little bit before that, but in any case, we're probably talking about the same incident.
This has been going on for 50 years
In the 70s and 80s fire fighters were routinely attacked, usually responding to false alarms. At some point they refused to go into the projects without police protection. I spent 5 of my teen years living 4 blocks from Bromley Heath. Got jumped many times.
