Roving UHub photographer Liz Robson got a good view of a freshly shaved box truck on Storrow Drive from the Fairfield Street footbridge this afternoon. The judges gave this storrowing high marks for style, but deducted points for the truck being empty and so having nothing to spew all over the road.
Jaili got a closeup of the newly jagged edges where the roof used to be on this good ol' truck out of Grapevine, TX:
We got ourselves the rare February Storrowing... just in case you through the bridges are higher on not 9/1. @universalhub #dayssincestorrowing pic.twitter.com/8BzwUKpmMR

Liz Lemongrab wonders:
Now, does this mean an early spring, or six more weeks of winter?

Seems like ages since a decent Storrowing.
Speaking of which, where the hell have all the turkeys gone?

I saw one running at quite a clip across Winchester in Brookline on Saturday afternoon. Not sure where she was going, but they're usually not moving that fast so she was in a hurry!

Although the quintet that I saw seemed to be waiting for the train to Lowell.

Some are now interns in the Financial District, spending their spare time trying to clean up their social-media history, while others are huddled in doorways on Methadone Mile.

we have an army of people holding a phone in one hand and steering wheel in the other (maybe) to document all the terrible drivers out there

So do dash cams. I have no need to record anything - it happens automatically. I can download stills to my phone.
Oh, and did you read this part?
How about that second one?

Passenger or dash cam? Which one does that look like to you, as an expert? It looks to me like someone stuck their arm out of the driver's side window but please do explain how I got that all wrong and maybe that I'm imagining the fact that everyone around here drives with a phone in their hand.
Looks like it was taken by a pedestrian, Einstein.

From the (twice!) aforementioned Fairfield Street footbridge. Unless your hypothetical driver had a left arm 20 feet long.
There is another picture under that first pair

scroll all the way way way down to where it says "Jaili got a closeup of the newly jagged edges where the roof used to be on this good ol' truck out of Grapevine, TX" and kindly tell me where your giant brain thinks that *that* photographer was located

I figured the two images heading the article were from each of the mentioned photogers and didn't bother following the twitter link.
From a car, yes, but one that was not moving

Look at the top photographs and notice the backed up traffic on the opposite side of the road, the side the photographer of the bottom photo was on.
Was there debris on the other

Was there debris on the other side of the road? Why is there a police vehicle taking up a lane, making traffic worse?

So once you're in stop-and-go traffic, you think it's safe to start using your phone?

It’s amazing how easy it is to take a photo when you are stuck in traffic due to said Storrowing and your car is in neutral [yay standards]
Everyone on both sides was taking photos even the very angry statie... overheard him saying he was going to text a buddy about “how can opener this was”
