Alleged Back Bay scribbler now also charged with arson, smashing window with a sledgehammer

Boston Police report that Angel Rodriguez, 37, arrested yesterday on graffiti charges, now also has to face additional charges, including that he set a fire at one Boylston Street building and smashed in a store window at another.
Police say that around 3:40 a.m. on Feb. 21, Rodriguez set building materials on fire at 500 Boylston St., the "Boston Legal" building between Clarendon and Berkeley streets. They add that around 3 a.m. on Feb. 25, he used a sledge hammer to smash a window at 399 Boylston St. Rodriguez is also charged with several other incidents of vandalism in the area, which they did not detail.
